Grant Miller Award
Grant Miller, a long time member of AA and an original member of Step 2, suffered through a losing battle with lung cancer.
Grant never whined about his misfortune, living his last months with courage and grace. He attended meetings up to his final days and maintained his prized sobriety to the end. He showed us all we can live with dignity through sobriety, even under the worst of personal circumstances.
The way Grant lived was his contribution to Step 2.
The Grant Miller Award is given annually to the Step 2 member best exemplifying Grant’s courage, grace, serenity and sobriety

Meeting Frequency, Formats & Location
We have been meeting 7 days a week with 4 meetings online and 3 in the park. We are a small group and some meetings are not well attended. We can discuss continuing the 7 day schedule, or reducing the number of meetings. We don’t know if or when we will be able to return to our former room at the St Francis administrative building, so we need to discuss prospective solutions.
We’ll be discussing our meeting formats and considering any suggested changes. Currently this is: First Wednesdays with John M, Thursday Readings with Tom W, and Saturdaily Reflections with David K. Perhaps there’s some interest in an outside chair once in a while? A dedicated step study meeting? Food for thought.
We’ll also be discussing the whys and hows regarding the upcoming switch from Google Meet to Zoom.
